Privacy Policy
Short version: DSA Roadmap doesn't have accounts, doesn't run analytics or ad SDKs, and doesn't send your learning progress anywhere. The only data that leaves your device is what Apple needs to process the one-time "unlock full roadmap" purchase.
What we collect
DSA Roadmap collects only purchase history — specifically, whether you've bought the one-time "Unlock Full Roadmap" in-app purchase. This is processed by Apple's App Store and by RevenueCat, a subscription/purchase infrastructure provider, in order to:
- Verify and unlock the purchase on your device
- Let you restore that purchase if you reinstall the app or switch devices
This purchase data is linked to your Apple ID (since Apple processes the transaction) but is never used to track you across other apps or websites, and we never see or store your payment details — those stay with Apple.
What we don't collect
- No account or sign-up — the app has no login system
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs
- No advertising or ad-tracking identifiers
- No location, contacts, browsing history, or health data
- No server-side storage of your learning progress
Where your progress lives
Your completed topics, streaks, badges, and settings are stored locally on your device using standard app storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device and isn't visible to us. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
Notifications
If you enable the daily streak reminder, it's a local notification scheduled entirely on your device — no push server is involved, and nothing about your usage is transmitted to enable it.
Third parties
We use RevenueCat solely to process and validate the in-app purchase, and Apple's App Store / StoreKit for the underlying transaction. Neither is used for advertising, analytics, or tracking in this app.
Children's privacy
DSA Roadmap does not knowingly collect data from children, does not require any personal information to use, and contains no user-generated content, social features, or ads.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update date above will change and the new version will be posted at this same URL.
